Today I am going to be sharing a card that I created for the following challenges: this week's paper lace challenge at Practical Scrappers, the monochromatic card challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot, the blue, blue, blue challenge at Order of the Opus Gluei, and I used sketch #9 from Get Sketchy.
The flocked patterned paper and the journaling page is from Making Memories. I stitched a border around each piece, and they make a great backdrop for the sentiment!
I used the images from my Cricut Storybook and Lyrical Letters cartridges for the larger sentiment in the center of the card and the number and letters inside of the frame charm is from the Storybook cartridge. They were both cut from the same light blue glittered paper. I threaded the ric rac through the top of the charm and embellished the card with mini Prima flowers and crystal swirls.
Well, today is my errand and prep day for the ladies coming to the Scrap Retreat House this weekend. I hope to finish a project that I've had in mind for a while, and if I get it done, I'll take photos and share it with you here! :)
Have a great day!
This is soooooo pretty, Christine!!!!! Great job using the lace card stock for the Practical Scrappers challenge!
