Hello! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your day! We've had lots of rain today and a few periods when we had hail. Thankfully, we didn't have to step out and face the weather. We're so spoiled with so many sunny days in California! LOL! :)
Since I've been inside, I wanted to try to get in a project using the new 2 Sketches 4 You sketch today.
As I was creating this, I thought about how very blessed I am to have met so many wonderful people through this blog, and I am so very thankful to have gotten to know a number of you better because of it. :)
I have to apologize for the delay in my posting my Freebie Friday RAK last week. I'm so sorry, and hope that after seeing what I have to offer, you'll still play along! :)

Really a cute card! I checked out your retreat and have to say WOW!! I live in Nebraska tho so it is just too far to go. My sister used to live in Victorville so it wouldn't have been as far for her but she moved out of Cali in September and moved out here to Nebraska also. What a wonderful place to go and get away and I don't think the price for the weekend is too bad. Thanks for a chance to win!! Gail S. gslagle (at) nctc (dot) net

I "visited" your Retreat and I sure would LOVE to be there right now!! What a great idea! It would be nice to have the option of having the weekend hosted by you for those of us who don't really belong to a group of scrappers yet.

WOW...the whole house looks amazing!!!! I'd love to be able to come for a weekend...but I think Sydney (Australia) is just a little too far :)
Good luck with it though...I bet that once people have been there once they'll be coming back again & again!

Wow, my favorite part of the retreat house is that it is such a great idea! The "chocolat" room is my favorite, I'm partial to browns, and a six foot table to work on...I have a space of about 2 feet to work with! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome candy.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win some beautiful candy! I've just spent a great deal of time dreaming I could visint your fabolous retreat house! What a great idea! The thing I love the most is the opportunity to be creative in such large and light space, and also how you can get new ideas from the latest of magazines.
I thought our honeymoon would be in the Carribien -but I might have changed our plans now ;)
I've posted a link about your fab RAK and of course about your Retreat House!

Wow, the Retreat looks just great! All the space you need for scrapbooking! Unfortunately I live in the Netherlands, so it's too far away for me, but for the people who live nearby.. it's wonderful!!!

Good day. I'm from Russia, we have not developed much of TC skrapbuking like you, so that such a house as you are, where you can meet and engage tvorchetstvom, we did not even dream of. I regularly go to you, look at your work, to learn. Thank you for your creativity.

WOW, that house is so fab! I'd book my whole group in in a heart beat but I think the cost of flights from the UK might put it out of our price range at the moment. I will let them all know about it though so at the very least we can dream and you never know - one day . . . . .

Hello from the Philippines! What a fabulous place- what a treat to be able to stay in the Crop Room all day!
Posted by: patsy | February 10, 2009 at 04:15 AM
Ohhhhhhh, Christine, this certainly is a dream come true for you, isn't it? I viewed every square inch of the retreat home and read every single word on the website. Now I have decided that my pennies will be saved until there are enough of them to spend the weekend there. I wish I had a blog so I could share the link to enable me to win Martha's punch, too. Instead, I've emailed tons of friends - does this count? I'm so envious of you for owning this dream house and envious of all the people that will crop there before I have enough pennies saved. Good luck! Hugs :-)
